NFL Free Pick From Jeffrey Brandes

Miami Dolphins at New York Jets— Sunday, 1:00 PM ET

The Miami Dolphins are 4-1 SU and 3-2 ATS in their last five road games against the New York Jets.  Miami is 10-2 SU and 9-2-1 ATS over its last 12 games overall. Jay Ajayi enjoyed a breakout season in 2016 with 1,272 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns, and he’s off to another strong start this season with 122 yards in Miami’s season debut. Jay Cutler was also sharp, passing for 230 yards and a touchdown with no turnovers.

New York has also picked up where it left off, opening the season 0-2 SU and ATS to fall to 2-8 SU and 3-7 ATS over the team’s last 10 games. This figures to be a long season for the Jets, who could struggle to find a win in 2017 if they fail to take advantage of this current three-game stretch against Miami, Jacksonville, and Cleveland.

Pick: Dolphins -6.0

NFL Free Pick From David Hess

Seattle Seahawks vs Tennessee Titans— Sunday, 4:05 PM ET

This should be a very interesting game as the Seahawks have not played well at all so far, while the Titans have had one bad game and one good game. The Titans are picked by many to win their division and I would have to agree with that as they are going to be a solid offensive team and their defense is much improved. They are a team that runs the ball very well and that is a must in the NFL these days. The Seahawks have a good defense, but they have major questions about their offense right now and I just don’t see that offense producing enough points to win this one against a Tennessee that looks to make a statement.

Prediction: Tennessee -2.5
